Webex Calling Dial Plan

An organization-level Webex Calling configuration that routes dial patterns to trunks or route groups instead of the location's PSTN.

Definition

Dial plans contain patterns in E.164 or enterprise formats and are associated with a route choice. They are used to send calls for on-premises extensions or ranges to CUCM through a trunk during coexistence and migration. Calls first check Webex users, then dial plan patterns, then PSTN.

Example

A dial plan sends +1408555XXXX to the trunk toward CUCM while users migrate in phases.

Exam tip

Dial plan routing is key for coexistence between Webex Calling and on-premises systems.
