Scholarships and Alternative Funding

There is a great deal of money set aside for certification training, and most of it goes unclaimed every year because nobody knows it exists. Tell us who you are and we will show you only the programs you actually qualify for — what each one pays, what it asks of you, and the first step to take.

Figures checked against official sources on October 7, 2026. Every card shows where its number came from and when that source was last updated. These programs change their amounts and deadlines every year, so always confirm on the official page before you plan around a figure.

2 Which branch?

Several of the biggest programs are run by a single service, so this narrows things considerably.

3 Enlisted or officer?

This matters more than it used to. Most credentialing programs are enlisted-only, and the Army closed its Credentialing Assistance to officers in March 2026.

How to read the badges. Each program shows what we can honestly say about thinQtank’s own standing with it. No approval needed means the route has no provider requirements at all. Paid to you means the money reaches you rather than a school, so our standing does not come into it. Ask us means the program has provider-side requirements and we would rather you ask than assume — tell us the class you want and we will give you a straight answer. Elsewhere means the training happens somewhere other than here, and we are listing it anyway because you should know it exists.
