thinQmaster
Four questions free, before you decide.
Step 1 · choose a vendor
We teach camps, and its thinQmaster titles are being written. Tell us which exam you are booked for and we will put yours first in the queue.
Nothing matches that. Tell us which exam you are booked for and we will tell you where it is in the queue.
In one of our camps? Your practice exams come with the tuition — they are on your study page already.
Starting the engine…
Home › thinQmaster
A study application, one exam at a time. Every question is written by the certified engineers who teach our camps and carries a full explanation — why the correct answer is correct, and why every wrong answer is wrong. Then the engine watches which ones you miss and rebuilds your next session around them.
A vendor must let a partner confirm that a firmware image genuinely came from the vendor and has not been altered in transit. The partner and the vendor share no secret and cannot establish one. Which control meets the requirement?
answer key · no reasoning
B
Correct today. Useless the moment the wording changes, the options are reordered, or the exam asks the same idea about a software update instead of a firmware image.
answer · and why the other three fail

One question, four explanations. Then the engine records which of those four you reached for, and adjusts what it asks you next.
The engine
thinQmaster is an application, not a PDF. It scores every answer against the exam’s own domains, keeps a running picture of where you are strong and where you are not, and builds each new session out of that picture. The domains you have mastered stop taking up your time. The one you keep getting wrong takes up more of it.
General Security Concepts is 12% of the real exam and you are getting one question in twenty. You have proved you know it. Your time is worth more elsewhere.
Security Operations is the heaviest domain on the blueprint and your weakest, so it takes eight of the next twenty — more than double its blueprint share.
Get Security Operations up and it recedes on its own. The mix is recalculated every session, so the work always sits on whatever is currently weakest.
When the explanation is not enough
The engine finds what you keep getting wrong. Sometimes reading why you got it wrong still does not land it — and that is the moment every other question bank leaves you alone with a search engine at eleven at night. Two things happen here instead.
Route one · your cohort
Push any question straight from the app into the discussion group for that exam, where other candidates working the same objectives — and our engineers — can see exactly what you were looking at when you got stuck.

If the vendor and the partner already trust each other, why is HMAC not good enough here?
thinQtank engineer
Trust is not the blocker — key distribution is. HMAC needs both sides holding the same secret, and the stem removes that. Signatures let anyone verify with a public certificate.
Route two · direct
Every thinQmaster purchase comes with a direct line to a certified engineer — someone who holds the certification you are studying for and works in the field, not a ticket queue and not a chatbot. Send the question, the objective, or the thing that has not clicked yet.

Why one exam at a time
So we sell you that exam, and nothing else. No monthly fee for forty titles you will never open, and nothing to remember to cancel.
Nobody wants a study-guide subscription. They want the one exam they booked, and they want it now.
Blueprints move constantly — ISACA rewrote the CRISC weightings in November 2025, Microsoft revised PL-300 in April 2026. We maintain the guides we sell rather than promising forty are all fresh.
A line item with an invoice. Tuition assistance, employer reimbursement and purchase orders handle that. Recurring billing they usually refuse.
How the questions are built
Every item is authored by the certified engineers who teach the camp. Nothing is harvested from a live exam, which is what makes it safe to study from.
Why the right answer is right, and why each wrong one is wrong. A distractor is the psychometric term for a wrong option, and every one is wrong for a specific, teachable reason. You get all four, never just the letter.
Each guide names the exam outline revision it was written against, on the cover. If the vendor withholds a figure, we say so rather than inventing one.
If it does not go your way
Every question bank on the internet advertises a money-back guarantee, and nobody believes them. Ours is worth more than the refund and it is easy to honor.
Dated after your purchase. That is the only thing we ask for.
Including every update we publish for that exam in the meantime.
Applied against any thinQtank instructor-led training camp, where the exam is delivered in the classroom.
One exam, one payment
You sit this exam once. Everyone else wants to bill you every month until you do — and every month after that, if you forget to cancel.
A subscription charges you for time, not for passing. Take the careful route through a hard exam and it costs you more than the person who crammed it in three weeks — same certification, same result, higher bill. Study in bursts around a job and you pay for the months you did not open it. Pass, forget the renewal date, and you keep paying for an exam you already hold.
None of that is about how well the questions are written. It is a billing model borrowed from streaming, aimed at something nobody does monthly.
thinQmaster is one payment for one exam. Twelve months of access, every update we publish for that exam inside that window, and nothing to cancel at the end — it simply stops. Sit it in six weeks or nine months; the price is the price.
$39 is an example, not a competitor’s price. Take whatever plan you are looking at and multiply it by how long you honestly think this will take you. That number is what it costs.

Why it costs less than it could
These questions already exist. We write them every week for the instructor-led camps we teach in Sterling, Atlanta and Burbank, and the engine was built for our own students before it was built for anyone else.
thinQmaster is not the business — it is the front door to it. So it is priced to be an easy yes rather than to carry a company, and you get the adaptive engine, the discussion group and a working engineer’s inbox at a price other people charge for a question bank and a PDF.
The catalog
Pick a vendor, or type the exam number if you know it. Titles we have not written yet are in here too, marked as such, so you can see what is coming rather than guessing.
43 of 43 exams
Nothing matches that. Tell us which exam you are booked for and we will tell you where it is in the queue.
You will need a thinQtank account. It is the same one you use for classes, and it is what your history, your weak spots and everything the engine learns about you are attached to — so we ask for it before you pay, not after. Titles still being written are sold as reservations: you pay the founding price now, your twelve months start the day your title opens, and if we have not opened it within ninety days we refund you in full.
