A message from our CEO

I spent a long time on the other side of this. I sat in the classes, I sent my engineers to the classes, and I paid the invoices for the classes. What kept bothering me was how often people came back with a certificate and no confidence.

That is a strange thing to buy. You spend real money and real time, you pass, and then on the Monday you are still hesitant in front of the equipment you were supposedly just trained on. It happens because a great many training programs are built to deliver a syllabus rather than to produce a capable person, and those are not the same product. One is much easier to sell and much easier to measure.

So we built this around a harder promise. We are responsible for whether you can do the work, not for whether we covered the material. Almost everything that looks unusual about how we operate follows from that one sentence.

It is why an instructor calls you before your class, to find out what you already know so that the first morning is not spent discovering it. It is why your courseware, your preparation videos and your exam aids arrive when you register rather than when you show up. It is why we aim for roughly forty percent lecture and sixty percent hands on the keyboard, and why the exam is delivered right there in the classroom while the material is still sharp. And it is why, if it does not land the first time, you can retake the course as many times as you need for two years, at no cost. If an employer sponsored someone who then leaves within six months, we train their replacement free. We would rather carry that risk than pretend it is yours.

What has changed lately is how much of this now lives on the site itself. Your classroom is here: course materials, labs, videos and reference documents, all in one place, all reachable from any device you happen to have. The practice engine is here too, and every question in it explains not only why the right answer is right but why each wrong one is wrong, because that second part is where the learning actually happens. If you are somewhere else in the country, you can join any instructor-led class live online and be in the room in every way that counts. And you can ask a question in the forum without buying anything at all, and a working engineer will answer it.

Two groups get particular attention here. The first is people changing careers into technology, often later than they think is respectable, usually with more nerve than they give themselves credit for. Some of that training is free. Ask us. The second is the military community. Air Force COOL, Army Credentialing Assistance, MyCAA and VET TEC 2.0 are all accepted, and we will sit with you and work the paperwork. Veterans have been among the most disciplined and most quietly capable students to come through our classrooms, and that is not a marketing line, it is an observation repeated over nearly twenty years.
