Tool 1 · Two minutes

Score your LinkedIn profile

Drop in your LinkedIn PDF and we’ll score most of your profile for you, or answer the questions by hand. Your score updates as you go, and the action plan puts the fixes that matter most at the top. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you request a review.

Get your PDF in 20 seconds

  1. Open your LinkedIn profile.
  2. Click More (it may say Resources) under your name.
  3. Choose Save to PDF, then drop the file here.

Read in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded or stored.

Tool 2 · The 220 characters that matter most

Build a headline recruiters actually search for

Your headline shows up everywhere your name does: in search results, comments and connection requests. “IT Professional” tells a recruiter nothing. Your target role and your certifications tell them you’re a match.

Certifications you hold (up to 3)
Type the job you want and pick a certification, and three headlines appear here.

LinkedIn allows 220 characters. We count them for you. Pick one with “Use this” and it travels with your review request.

The free service

What we’ll do for your profile

A full refresh, not a list of tips. You get the new wording written out, ready to paste, and a call to go through it together.

Headline & About, rewritten

A headline built around the role you want and the credentials you hold, and an About section that reads like a person, opens with a hook, and ends with how to reach you.

Experience that shows results

Every role rebuilt into three to five bullets about what changed because you were there: outages prevented, tickets closed, systems migrated, people trained.

Skills matched to real postings

We compare your skills against job postings for the role you want, add the keywords recruiters filter on, and tell you which five to pin at the top.

Certifications set up properly

Each certification listed under Licenses & certifications with the right issuer, dates and credential ID, so it shows the issuer’s logo and recruiters can verify it.

A banner for your field

A custom cover banner designed for the work you do, so the top of your profile stops being the default blue and starts saying something.

A review call, and the settings

We walk through every change with you, then set up the details people miss: your custom URL, a private “Open to work” for recruiters, and a Featured section.

Military experience, translated

MOS, AFSC and rating duties rewritten in the language civilian and contractor hiring managers use, with clearance and billet experience shown the way employers look for it.

Yours to keep

Everything comes to you in writing: your rewritten sections, keyword list and action plan, so you can keep it current long after the call.

How it works

Three steps, and you stay in control of all of them

1

Tell us where you’re headed

Send your LinkedIn link and the job you want next. It takes two minutes, and your score and headline come along automatically.

2

We write your refresh

We review your profile against postings for your target role and write the new headline, About, experience and skills, ready to paste.

3

Review it together, then publish

We go through it on a call. You change what you like and paste it in yourself. Nothing goes live until you put it there.

So you know exactly what you’re agreeing to

What this is, and what it isn’t

    What it is

  • A full rewrite of the parts of your profile that recruiters read, tailored to one target role.
  • Written by people who teach the certifications you hold, so the technical wording is right.
  • Delivered in writing, so you keep it and can reuse it for your resume.
  • Free, whether or not you ever take a class with us.

    What it isn’t

  • A login. We will never ask for your LinkedIn password, and nobody else posts or edits as you.
  • A sales call. Nobody asks your budget, and there’s no offer with a deadline at the end.
  • Invented experience. We make what you’ve done clearer. We don’t add what you haven’t.
  • A mailing list. Your details are used for your review and nothing else.

The honest answer

Why is it free?

Because the best advertising we have is a student who got the job and tells people where they trained.

What it costs us, and what we get

Every refresh takes one of our instructors real time. We do it because our business is built on referrals and returning students, and a strong profile gets people hired faster. If you took a class with us, we’ll also ask you to list thinQtank Learning under Education. That’s the whole deal, written down.

Questions

Before you ask

Do I have to be a thinQtank student? +

No. Anyone working toward a career in IT or cybersecurity can request a refresh. If you are one of our students, tell us which class. We’ll use what you covered in it.

Do you need my LinkedIn password? +

Never. We only need your public profile link. We send you the new wording and you paste it in yourself. If anyone claiming to be us ever asks for your password, it isn’t us.

How long does it take? +

We reply by email, usually within a working day, to confirm your request and set up the call. The written refresh comes to you before the call, so you can read it first.

I’m leaving the military. Can you help with that? +

Yes, and it’s one of the things we’re best at. Many of our students are serving or transitioning. We translate duties, billets and clearance experience into the language civilian and contractor employers search for.

What if I don’t have any certifications yet? +

Request one anyway. We’ll build the profile around the role you’re aiming for and the experience you already have, and we’ll tell you honestly which certification would help most, even if it isn’t one we teach.

Is there really no catch? +

The “why is it free” section above is the whole of it. There’s no card, no trial and nothing to cancel.
