Single Number Reach (SNR)

A Cisco Unified Mobility feature that rings a user's remote devices such as a mobile phone simultaneously with the desk phone.

Definition

SNR uses remote destination profiles and remote destinations to extend calls to off-net numbers, with timers to avoid sending calls to the mobile voicemail. Users can move an active call between devices (desk pickup or mobile pickup). Access lists and time-of-day settings control when remote destinations ring.

Example

A call to extension 2001 rings both the desk phone and the user's mobile number +14085559876.

Exam tip

SNR requires a remote destination profile and mobility-enabled user; watch for answer-too-soon and answer-too-late timers.
