Build my study plan

  1. Week 1-2: Install Anypoint Studio and complete the free MuleSoft Development Fundamentals (Mule 4) self-paced course or equivalent; build its exercises.
  2. Week 3: Mule event, variables and DataWeave (20% combined): practice map, filter, reduce, joins and format conversions.
  3. Week 4: Connectors, routing and record processing (28%): build Choice, Scatter-Gather, For Each and Batch Job flows.
  4. Week 5: Error handling: compare On Error Continue vs Propagate, try scopes and global error handlers; trace which response returns.
  5. Week 6: Design an API in RAML, generate flows with APIkit, deploy to CloudHub, apply a policy; then take the official practice exam and timed practice tests.

Make it yours: pick your exam date and weekly hours. We'll split your time by domain weight and give you a printable plan.

Exam-day tips

  • Expect many 'what is the payload/variable after this flow runs' questions; trace events through flows carefully.
  • Error handling questions are tricky: know exactly what On Error Continue vs On Error Propagate return to the caller and HTTP status.
  • Know how variables behave across flow references, async scopes and Scatter-Gather (and what is lost across transports).
  • Practice reading DataWeave output by hand, including default values and null handling.
  • Know Batch Job phases (load and dispatch, process, on complete) and what the aggregator does.
