Cisco CCNP Enterprise exam guide

Exam 350-401 ENCOR v1.2 (core) + one concentration: 300-410 ENARSI, 300-415 ENSDWI, 300-420 ENSLD, 300-435 ENAUTO, 300-440 ENCC or 300-445 ENNA

CCNP Enterprise proves professional-level skill designing, implementing and troubleshooting enterprise campus and WAN networks. You earn it by passing the ENCOR core exam and one concentration of your choice; since March 2026 wireless has moved to its own CCNP Wireless track, so CCNP Enterprise now centers on routing, switching, SD-WAN, assurance, cloud connectivity and automation.

Build my study plan

  1. Weeks 1-4: ENCOR architecture, virtualization and infrastructure (the 30% domain): lab OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and STP variants in CML or EVE-NG.
  2. Weeks 5-6: ENCOR assurance, security and automation; script RESTCONF calls and review AI-driven assurance concepts.
  3. Weeks 7-8: ENCOR timed practice and book the core exam.
  4. Weeks 9-12: Pick a concentration matched to your job (ENARSI for routing depth, ENSDWI for SD-WAN, ENSLD for design) and lab its blueprint.
  5. Weeks 13-14: Concentration practice exams and review.

Exam-day tips

  • Choose your concentration around the work you do; it is easier to pass and more valuable on the job.
  • Since ENCOR v1.2 (March 19, 2026) wireless topics are gone, so do not spend time on WLC configuration for the core.
  • ENCOR passes alone earn the Enterprise Core Specialist credential, so take it first and count the win.
  • Infrastructure is 30% of ENCOR; BGP path selection and OSPF LSA types show up often.
  • Cisco exams do not allow returning to previous questions; manage time per question rather than per section.

Frequently asked questions

How much does CCNP Enterprise cost?

US$700 in exam fees: $400 for ENCOR and $300 for one concentration, plus any retakes.

Do I need CCNA before CCNP Enterprise?

No formal prerequisite exists, but CCNA-level knowledge is assumed throughout ENCOR.

Is wireless still part of CCNP Enterprise?

No. On March 19, 2026, Cisco moved wireless to the new CCNP Wireless track (350-101 WLCOR) and removed wireless from ENCOR v1.2.

Which concentration should I pick?

ENARSI is the classic choice for routing-heavy roles; ENSDWI suits SD-WAN deployments; ENSLD suits designers; ENAUTO suits automation-focused engineers.

Is CCNP Enterprise worth it?

Yes for mid-career network engineers; it is commonly required for senior engineer roles, and ENCOR also qualifies you for the CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure lab.
