Course overview
thinQtank® Learning is offering a unique instructor-led training camp that gives students the foundational knowledge of cloud computing and Microsoft Azure — what cloud computing actually is and what the shared responsibility model means in practice; then Azure itself, from regions and subscriptions through compute, networking, storage and identity; and finally the management side: cost, governance, deployment tooling and monitoring.
This course also helps students prepare to take the Microsoft AZ-900 exam, which awards the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification. There are NO prerequisites and NO scripting is required. AND UNLIKE EVERY OTHER MICROSOFT CERTIFICATION WE RUN, THIS ONE DOES NOT EXPIRE — Microsoft states that fundamentals certifications do not expire, while role-based ones lapse after twelve months.

The exam
AZ-900700to pass, of 1
- Exam AZ-900 — awards Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
- Forty-five minutes to complete, the shortest exam we run
- Skills measured, weighted as RANGES rather than fixed percentages, which is how Microsoft publishes them: Describe Azure architecture and services 35-40%, Describe Azure management and governance 30-35%, Describe cloud concepts 25-30%
- Skills measured were last revised on 20 July 2026, and this course is built on that revision
- Microsoft does not publish the number of questions on its exams, so we do not quote one
- No formal prerequisites, and no scripting required
- THIS CERTIFICATION DOES NOT EXPIRE. Microsoft states that fundamentals certifications do not expire. Every other Microsoft certification we run is role-based and lapses after twelve months unless renewed. This is the exception
- AZ-900 Voucher — an exam voucher is available through thinQtank for $99 USD. Ask when you register and we will add it to your enrollment
