thinQtank® Learning is offering a unique instructor-led training camp that gives students the knowledge and skills needed to design, secure and operate cloud environments at a professional level — architecture and design, data security across the whole lifecycle, platform and infrastructure hardening, application security, day-to-day security operations, and the legal, risk and compliance work that decides whether any of it is defensible.
This course also helps students prepare to take the ISC2 CCSP exam. CCSP is the senior cloud security credential: it sits alongside CISSP rather than under it, and an active CISSP waives its experience requirement outright.

What you'll be able to do

- Secure applications built for the cloud, including the pipeline that ships them
- Run cloud security operations: monitoring, logging, incident handling and change control
- Manage the physical and logical operations of a cloud data center, and the people running it
- Work the legal and compliance problems cloud creates — jurisdiction, e-discovery, privacy and forensics
- Manage cloud vendors and contracts: SLAs, right to audit, and what happens when you want to leave
- Assess and treat risk across a cloud estate rather than one service at a time

- Three hours to complete
- Five years of cumulative paid IT experience is required to certify, of which three must be in information security and one in one or more of the six domains. An active CISSP waives it entirely, and a relevant degree or the CSA CCSK substitutes for one year
- Accredited to ISO/IEC 17024 by ANAB, and approved by the US Department of Defense under directive 8140.03

Prerequisites
- Five to seven years of IT experience, of which at least three are in information security
- At least one year of cloud security experience
- A working understanding of cloud service and deployment models
- Our CISSP camp is highly recommended before this one — and an active CISSP waives the CCSP experience requirement entirely
