Course overview
thinQtank® Learning is offering a unique five-day training camp comprised of five days of instructor-led learning that gives students the knowledge and skills needed to install, configure, troubleshoot and secure the hardware, operating systems, mobile devices and small networks that an IT support technician is responsible for every day. This course serves as the entry point into a professional IT career and is the foundation the Network+ and Security+ courses build on.
This course also helps students prepare to take the CompTIA A+ Core 1 (220-1201) exam, which is part of the CompTIA A+ certification and the recognized starting credential for help desk, desktop support and field service roles.

- Use support and scripting tools and follow professional operational procedures for safety, environment and documentation

Prerequisites
■ End-user skills with a Windows-based PC
- Basic knowledge of computing concepts
- No prior IT work experience is required — CompTIA recommends around twelve months in a support role, but this course is built to take you there rather than assume it
