Course Overview

thinQtank® Learning is offering an industry unique five-day training camp in which students can receive the CompTIA CASP+ certification. As with all of our CompTIA Training Experiences, exams are delivered in the classroom.

CompTIA CASP+ Certification is a vendor-neutral credential and is an internationally targeted validation of advanced-level security skills and knowledge. While there is no required prerequisite, the CASP+ certification is intended to follow CompTIA Security+ or equivalent experience and has a technical, "hands-on" focus at the enterprise level.

CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (exam CAS-004) is the course for careers with job responsibilities including securing complex enterprise environments. This training camp will prepare students to successfully achieve this in-demand certification and will teach students to assess, investigate, examine, and research potential security threats in any organization.

Finally, students will gain the foundational knowledge to fully prepare for the CASP+ exam (CAS-004). What students learn and practice in this course can be a significant part of the CASP+ exam preparation.

■    Integrate hosts, storage, networks, applications, virtual environments, and cloud technologies in a secure enterprise architecture

■    Respond to and recover from security incidents
