It is about an ongoing relationship of learning, dialogue, and challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Routing and Switching (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cisco.com\/c\/en\/us\/training-events\/training-certifications\/certifications\/expert\/ccie-routing-switching.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CCIE Routing and Switching<\/a>) certifies the skills required of expert-level network engineers to plan, operate and troubleshoot complex, converged network infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>This program is designed with years of experience and knowledge to deliver the most effective methods of learning and retaining the knowledge necessary to successfully complete the CCIE Routing and Switching Certification program. This is not a \u201cquick fix\u201d solution. The mentoring process typically includes four to five months of participation concluding with a one week in classroom capstone session. In addition, there is an optional 3-day CCIE Routing and Switching written training camp at the conclusion of the mentoring process but prior to the capstone classroom session.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"s1\">Why is this mentoring program successful?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\"><strong>We define clear objectives of the program and assist potential participants.<\/strong> Our defined objectives are smart \u2013 specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-115\" src=\"http:\/\/thinqtanklearning.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/smart-goals.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"108\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thinqtanklearning.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/smart-goals.png 792w, https:\/\/thinqtanklearning.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/smart-goals-300x129.png 300w, https:\/\/thinqtanklearning.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/smart-goals-768x331.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 85vw, 250px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>We are passionate about the program.<\/strong> Our mentors provide essential ongoing support, training and coaching to the program participants. All of the program mentors and peer mentors will identify strengths and weaknesses throughout. Each of or mentors are passionate, excellent communicators and have critical organizational skills. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>We balance structure and flexibility into the program.<\/strong> While we understand a level of formality is required with any successful mentoring process, participant training, progress tracking, and communication; we know that mentoring is about individual learning and growth, and our program is individually customized based on participant goals and preferred methods of learning. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>We prepare our participants for success.<\/strong> We know that productive mentoring doesn\u2019t just happen. We will ensure that all mentors, peers and participants are clearly educated on the program goals, participant roles, mentoring best practices and our mentoring process. Our mentors will work directly with participants to identify and clarify their own objectives. We also know that refining and tuning the mentoring process doesn\u2019t just end after the initial orientation. We will continually tune the process throughout to help participants stay on track and get the most out of the program. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>We track, measure and tune.<\/strong> We are constantly tracking our program, evaluate metrics and continually request feedback. We work to assess the outcomes of our mentor and participant connections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>How does the program work?<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nOnce a candidate has enrolled in the program, our CCIE certified engineers will conduct an initial assessment interview with the candidate to gain a clear understanding of the knowledge and ability of the candidate. This initial assessment is to also ensure that the program goals and objectives are in line with the candidate\u2019s goals and objectives. The key deliverable from this initial assessment is to identify strength and weaknesses to align a training curriculum that will define the training curriculum over the following months.<\/p>\n<p>Our program is <strong>not<\/strong> designed to provide simply one week of a bootcamp style course that has little likelihood in delivering a high rate of success for the written and practical exams. We believe that a four to five-month program of mentorship and learning collaboration with peers followed by a group capstone session is the best way to ensure success.<\/p>\n<p>During this four to five-month period, our team will work with each candidate to define weekly self-study exercises with hands-on lab exercises to solidify the knowledge and skills in that exam topic.
